Assessment for/diagnosis of significant mental health concerns (e.g. depression, severe anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, PTSD). In cases where parents have concerns such as those listed, they should attend the family GP. In cases where there is an immediate concern for the child’s/young person’s safety, they can be brought to A&E.
